This time the SUW project was organised in collaboration with Gallery MMXIII in an abundant tenement in the city centre of Wrocław (University Street), a building of the available surface area of 400m2.
Little is known about that place. Before the Second World War there was a bakery on the ground floor. Photographs of the pre-war and post-war Wrocław stubbornly neglect the building at University Street. There are also no preserved memories of the inhabitants.
Hence the laconic title of the exhibition – ‘11/12’ awaited to be given its site-specific context through artistic activities. 41 projects were presented within the empty space. The building was transformed into an exhibition space for two days only through the interaction of artists and the audience.
