4SALE [SUW]

Wroclaw, Poland (April 2018)
exhibition

The idea of the seventh edition of SUW  was to locate the exhibition in an apartment and focus on presenting art works for sale. It was organised in a flat on Chorzowska Street in Wrocław’s district Księże Małe. All in four rooms, art hanged on four walls, all for sale.

Exhibiting artworks to buy in a private space was underlining the concept that people can be surrounded by art in their houses and they can afford it. Audiences were invited to invest in art and collect it, while artists were asked to talk about selling their art to their possible clients.

The exhibition was an occasion to change the common financial taboo in the art world into an open conversation about it. To inspire people to change printed pictures from home decoration stores into a unique and original art collection.
